Livonia, MI - Thanks to his two victories, one second place finish and two third place finishes on the Fish 'N' Chips Poker Tour this season, Mike T. of Livonia has captured the Tour's first Player of the Year honor.Mike's two first place finishes (Event's 2 and 9) netted him $875.00 in prize money plus an additional $442.00 in three other cashes (Event's 3, 4 and 5) bringing his total winnings to $1317.00 for the season. This is still with one regular season event to go. Through ten regular season events and with one in hand, Mike has clinched the first overall spot in the standings at 64.15 points.
Season highlight's include 4 consecutive cashes which include a 1st place finish in Event 2, a 2nd place finish in Event 3, a 3rd place finish in Event 4 and a 3rd place finish in Event 5.
Mike's name will be engraved on the first plate of the yet to arrive Fish 'N' Chips Poker Tour Player of the Year Perpetual Trophy.
